Shrink shaping

Wrinkle expansion

Car body collision may cause irregular wrinkles in stamping sheet metal. When repairing, if it is convenient and feasible, the wrinkles can be unraveled by bracing and pulling method, and then knocked flat. If it is not convenient or feasible, the car body should be disintegrated and repaired under the car. The essentials of folding: first, try to pry the dead fold from the inside, relieve the surviving fold, then warm it up, hammer the convex ridge of the living fold, gradually expand it and restore its original shape.

Tension reduction

The pressure produced by the hydraulic cylinder pushes the plunger rod apart, so that the deformed plate can be pushed apart. In addition, there is a spiral stretcher with movable hooks at both ends of the lead screw. When in use, if stretching and shaping is done, the iron pipe can be rotated so that both ends of the lead screw are shortened simultaneously, one end of the hook is fixed, and the other end of the hook pulls the plate to stretch.

Prying reduction

The reduction of pad pry is based on the deformation position and degree of the vehicle, using effective space, supporting by adjacent parts and using the principle of lever to carry out plastic repair.

With this method, the car body does not need to be disintegrated, so the installation quality of the original car is maintained and the working efficiency is improved, but the scope of use is limited. With the support of tyres, a wooden pad can be placed under the pry bar to prize up the depressed part of the rear tire hood, and then hammer and pad iron can be used to flatten the creases and bumps.
